Libra00 retires, IBM p575s added to the Libra cluster
Libra00, an IBM p690 purchased in 2001 and installed at IUPUI, reached the end of its hardware life cycle and was retired in February, 2008.
Seven new IBM p575s, libra43, libra45-libra50, have been added to the
Libra cluster.

libra47,libra48,libra49,libra50) - 64GB memory (
libra45andlibra46[database])
Central Life Sciences Database (CLSD)
- CLSD is now available on Libra45.
- All CLSD user accounts have been moved to Libra45.
- DB2 has been installed on Libra45.
- dbSNP Build 128 has been configured on Libra45.
- CLSD web services have been migrated from Discover to Discern.

Lisrel 8 and PRELIS 2

Research Database Complex (RDC)
The Research Data Complex (RDC) has been migrated to the Libra cluster. The five research-based instances on inquire.uits.indiana.edu have been migrated to libra45.uits.indiana.edu and the three GIS-related instances have been migrated to libra46.uits.indiana.edu. The web front end to the databases has been migrated to discern.uits.indiana.edu. The migration from Solaris to Linux will provide more flexibility for new web applications and portals.
